Firstly, I am bloody appalled that no one out there of the female persuasion
has gone to a con in a Belldandy outfit, at least that I know of. There IS
that lovely woman we all saw whose pic from Fujishima World caused such a
stir on this ML a couple of weeks back. However, that was Japan and, well,
at a Fujishima World you're going to have at least One Belldandy, Urd, and
Skuld, about ten or twenty otaku dressed up as Ken Nakajima, and probably
hundreds of teenage girls who've gone out and rented uniforms so they can
come as the Cute Police. As for Morisato, well, he's a dead ringer for
Kousuke Fujishima, so I rest my case on who K1 is based on.

But as usual, I digressssssssss. Where was I? Oh yeah...

It appears that there was this fellow who maintained a Belldandy shrine out
in Washington State. One of his photos was of a woman who painstakingly
copied Belldandy's dress uniform right down to the wrist wraps and the
leggings. It was great. The tunic was done up just right with the gold
zigzag piping on blue field, and a light pink gown underneath. If I'm
correct, this woman even went so far as to make the neck and ear jewelry. I
didn't notice any moonrock bracelets, though.

At any rate, question of the day, anybody know who this lady is (the photos
were group shots that were taken in 1995)? For a bonus prize of a Hot Date
with Urd, has any one out there seen this woman at a convention?

Oh yeah, and finally, somebody out there butch up their action and post the
details of Anime Weekend Atlanta. I'd love to go and see what's up in the
Dealer's Room. Besides, I want to see if those adolescent boys dressed up as
Sailor Scouts actually have the stones to show up, not to mention that clown
with the bug plushie and the mallet who does Skuld In Drag.
Be Seeing You,

Chris
