I don't have any "evidence" to back this up on hand (too tired to search for
it now), but I always felt that Keiichi's hesitance was largely based on fear
that she'd have to go back one day. Plus, he seems to have a hard time
dealing with loss...remember the puppy story? And that was just a
puppy...(spoken like a terminal psych major!). Although at first, there was
undoubtedly some question in his mind as to whether she really wanted to stay
with him, I don't think this is as important later on. Can anyone find
examples supporting or refuting this? I'll try to look into this more
tomorrow, too.
