because all you are privileged AMG fans I wanted to let you know in person that
the gathering of signatures and letters for the new AMG anime has begun and 
the announce of the petition has just been posted in most of the anime-related 
USENET areas.Here's the original text of the announce :

A NEW "AH MY GODDESS!" ANIME IS LIKELY GOING TO BE
PRODUCED!

Read this extract from a letter that Bill MacPhee from A.I.C., Japan (ANIME
INTERNATIONAL CO. the company that produced the previous series of Ah
My Goddess! OAVs) sent to a member of the Megami ML :

Well.. fans...Your time has come,time to make them hear your voices!

Read the last part. It's about *interest*..peoples' interest about "Ah My
Goddess!" That's where we need you. If you want a new anime to be produced
you have to let them know. That's why you have to sign for the big initiative we
from the Megami ML are carrying on,a PETITION for a new "Ah My Goddess!"
anime.

We are gathering signatures and short messages of encouragement for AIC
from all you.We'll ship everything to A.I.C. immediately after the deadline.

What are you supposed to do? It's easy  and explicable in a few rules :

1) We need a LETTER from you with :

a) your SIGNATURE and e-mail address.(this is only for reference)

b) A short,handwritten MESSAGE FOR A.I.C. (you can tell them why you like
AMG or why you want AMG to be continued)

Important : the message is optional. Basicly,we need your signatures but such
message would be very appreciated as well since it would be a sign of your
enthusiasm toward Ah! My Goddess! Remember,it must be handwritten as a
sign of genuineness.

c) You should include 1$ to cover the shipment fee.You know,shipments to
Japan are expensive and we are likely going to send a *thick* envelope.

2) Ship the letter to the following address :

3) The postmark deadline is MARCH 9th and the petition will be
     sealed on the 15th of March. NOTE : IF YOU ARE OVERSEAS, YOU
     MIGHT WANT TO SEND IT A LITTLE BEFORE THE 8TH TO MAKE
     SURE IT GETS HERE IN TIME

the creation of the new Ah My Goddess! movie and..hopefully.. new series of
OAVs!
