For "World War", is the world at war ? I am sure quite a few countries are not in the war. For "Gulf War" or "Six Days War", the gulf, or 6 days, are not at war. The word in front of the "war" simply is a choosen that best describe the nature or place of the war. The lead character is called Sakura, and she is at war with the enemy. Hence Sakura Taisen. -- 'CuSO4' Yung cuso4@cuso4.com, cuso4@manbow.com, chyung@hknet.com, cuso4@cuso4.org
