This just might be my silly assumption, but I'd expect there to be a significant Japanese population in any major city on the West coast of North or South America. Remember the last President of Peru: Alberto Fujimori? I also would expect there to be a fairly significant population in Canada after the US's rather unfortunate (read: stupid #$%&@!* moron) activities involving internment camps during WWII. Canada is also the place where nearly all comics sold in the US are actually printed. So hopefully this isn't just wishful thinking on my part that I might get to enjoy a little taste of Tokyo while on my grueling conference trip.
