If you are more interested in vocals than backgrounds, I would suggest avoiding the soundtracks, since they are 80% Background music. On the other hand if BGM is your thing, those are the first two you will want to buy. If all you want from the actual series is the opening and closing theme, get the CD-Single, which has both for abut 10 dollars. Now for the harder part. If you are interested in image music, there is a LOT of good stuff out there. The "Singles" recording collects all of the old CD singles, most of which are out of print, and is a very good start of a AMS collection. The 1997 series of CD-singles is still available, and has some lovely (and fun) stuff on it as well. Other albums you will come across are excellent, but I would suggest these to start. Along more esoteric lines, the Manga Image album has some excellent instrumental and vocal selections on it, but does not feature the voices of the Goddess Family Club. If you want to be true to those three seiyuu, you may give it a pass, but I strongly recommend it. The Kami no Karaoke set is a 4-disc set with all of the karaoke versions of the stuff earlier released. Unless you're into karaoke, and until you are familiar with the songs otherwise, give it a pass. My opinions only...good luck with whatever you wind up with. Kevin
